Wouldn’t call this a Merlot / cab franc blend - it’s more of a left bank blend with 50% cab as the main grape. Needs a bit of air for the oak to blow off even at this age. Wonderful fruit. Less acid than I was hoping for but still a very nice wine paired with burgers.

Nov 26th, 2022Really very nice at 12 years. Deliciously fruity in a way a Napa wine can be, but actually decently refined. Either way quite pleasurable and a perfect pairing with beautiful dry aged strip steaks on the grill.

Great fruit. Big wine but soft enough to have with lighter red meats too. Lots of dark cherry. Great juice. Excellent value.
