This wine was kind of a big deal. A personal favorite of mine that never disappoints. Deep dark fruit—it looks like earl grey tea in the glass. Very extracted with a brooding character and so much rich fruit consistency. The essence of this wine always brings to mind the Vega Sicilia Unico for me. Exquisite depth.

I have a long running love affair with this wine, especially the ‘04. Bottle was in fine form and great for impressing a colleague. Fantastic with venison medallions.
