I do not get these wines. I'm sorry. Super ripe and almost comically overripe nose. Candied and also green and weedy. Blech. Ripe, hot, barely structured and sweet blechy fruit. Kind of gross. 2 bottles opened. Consistent notes.

Aug 13th, 2015Beautiful Sonoma Coast Syrah - elegant, understated, complex. My mom the Pinot drinker was thrilled with this style of syrah. I'm still thinking about this wine days later!

Aromatics are perfect. Loads of game. A bit thinner than '12 with seemingly higher acid. It's drinking a bit out of sorts right now so I'll hold off on opening my next bottle.
