2020. Love Arnot-Roberts and this young Chardonnay has the acidity and flavor to pair with oysters and grilled branzino!

California Chablis, drinks like a 1er cru easily. Still it’s its own thing and very distinctive. Terrific freshness, aromas starting to develop. Mineral, seashell, lemon squeeze. Beautiful work.

Very potent but not especially fruity or rich. Goes great with food.

Wry good wine in a great restaurant. Similar in to French Chardonnay’s with little oak and mineral overtones. We enjoyed it for Mother’s Day 2022

Nose of lighter citrus (not sharply acidic) very modest floral, blanched almonds or bananas? Taste brings much more acidity, nice backbone and stone/limestone (?), slight key lime and floral with a touchy of creamy vanilla. As it opens up and warms up, something doesn’t quite hold together. It’s like the glue holding it together starts to break.
