Aston Estate
Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

Spicy yet smooth and very well rounded. Loved it!

Pop and pour. A breathtaking murky medium ruby red color. On the nose: very expressive nose of stewed sweet strawberries, musky forest floor, cedar, touch of tobacco, clove. Taste: smooth, silky, juicy wine with a touch of tart cherry, and faint notes of minerals, pepper, earth, orange peel and a medium finish. Nothing great, but not bad at this age for a maligned vintage.

Explosive aromatics followed by wonderful sour, bright cherry flavors...for a vintage with low, initial expectations, the ‘11s continue to evolve and impress

Sonoma Coast. I still prefer robust Santa Lucia Highlands.
