2 hour decant (little cloudy sediment). A captivating deep medium garnet color. On the nose: red fruit, spice, earthy, slight funk. Taste: strawberry, blueberry, cherry all there with little toasty oak, tea, cocoa...low acidity and medium finish.

Another winner from Mark Aubert, the 2014 UV Vineyard pinot is drinking absolutely perfectly right now. Needs a few minutes in the glass to open up, but then you get aromas of red fruits and spice, medium-to-full bodied, and a lingering finish. Needs to be maintained at or just below cellar temp to maintain its balance, but a really terrific wine nevertheless!
