One of the best Grenache's I have ever drank . Silky finish you could substitute this for a Pinot Noir.

Pretty #autumn pour with brown spice, cocoa nib, cranberry, dried leaves, pomegranate, hint spearmint...lean tannin but high alcohol...AKA Grenache - and it works. Nice example, and loving the Central Coast origin (as am sharing with my Central Cal crew).

Local store selling this 2011 in 2020...a bit past its prime I’d say. Bet it was great in 2015?

Aromatically complex, strawberry compote, peppercorn jus, earthy dried mushroom, spice--cinnamon and the heat of alcohol comes through with a cayenne/capsaicin heat, dried basil and tarragon. I could smell this wine all night but for some reason I don't love drinking it--palate seems disjointed.
