Another wine I made during my tenure at the Trio Winery, finally bottled as Avidan. Medium brick, the nose opens up with some rust, red currants, strawberries, rose petals, orange zest. Good freshness. Very supple and smooth on the palate, with rich, savoury, spicy fruit. Acidity is on the low side. It's drinking very well now, though I'm not sure it's built for aging. Even though and despite being biased, this is easily Israel's best rendition of Nebbiolo.
