Classic CC but with a bit firmer tannic backbone than you might expect from an under-the-radar producer. It all worked well with pork chops or pasta.

Tar! Cherries! Acid! Beautiful earth! Typicity! A food wine for sure. Great length with years ahead. Very pretty. Brings back memories of tasting with Silvio, and his second-to-none hospitality 👍

Never had a Chianti Classico, but had wanted to try it since I saw it on The Wine Show. This was delicious. Fruity but with an old world acidity and tannins.

Much riper than the 2014 I had last year. I think a decant would have helped this open up, but we split the bottle between 5 people—the wine was just starting to open up as I finished my glass.
