Rich deep fruit complimented with layers of spice. The first blush nose is all about dark berries and that come-and-go spice transferred to the first blush touch inside one's mouth coupled with well-proportioned tannins (slightly tight enhanced by decanting) but offering a soft somewhat lingering finish. Loving the fact that this wine is under $20 and only 12.5 alc content (major plus in my book, so to speak). Snag it and enjoy! Sitting at Promise' Land Market's artsy/folksy stern (the bar; an accurate replica of a relative's fishing boat; we are a community moored in such culture; love it/them). Come to PLM and be welcomed by very cool owner , Janine Russell, and her boyfriend and music man among other things, Phillip (his grandfather's boat - the bar). Janine works very hard, albeit also fun, finding crazy fine wines & craft beers not to mention very special cheeses, charcuterie and more...😎
