Nice smell of plums and dark fruit. Definitely a good wine. By itself, the acid and sourness overpowers the fruit, but when paired with pizza, the sourness softens and the fruit emerges ... red cherries, maybe black currant. Really nice.

Nice combination of tannin and acid, with a red fruit backbone. This would be perfect with pizza margherita or antipasto.
