Still had some life.

Dark truffle tar and son red cherr fruit but a lot of black earth and spices mcel balanced still quite fresh

Perfect provenance, with a high fill level. Obviously showing its aged character. Some caramelized fig with some hints of dark fruit. Very fresh in the mouth, resolved but present tannins, and pleasantly mouthwatering acid. A real treat to taste a wine this old.

Birth year Barolo, showing better than I ever do. Beautiful.

Dried flowers and still with some bright red fruit.

Gorgeous bright juicy red currant cedar and dried flowers. Soaring acidity.
