Interesting expression of the varietal. Light ruby color with a dark core. Aromas of red and black fruit, leather and dried rose petals. Dark cherry and blackberry flavors with hints of mushroom, tobacco and black pepper. Medium earthy/smoky finish. A bit on the lighter side for a Cabernet Sauvignon (more Cabernet Franc-like).
