First time trying this. We are closet fans of BG, but this falls short. Nice nose of cherry jam, gives way to a barnyard note on the palate. The texture is moderate, as is the sweetness. But overall, this is one-dimensional, which lacks complexity. We’ll let it breathe to see if it comes out to play...

We had the 2016 Vintage on 1/15-16/21. This is a heavier and sweeter Pinot Noir. I think BG makes them that way. Black cherry and cinnamon on the palate. Not bad.
