This 1990 cab is perhaps the best single Napa cab I’ve ever tasted. Fresh raspberries sitting on a graphite backbone. Finish is cooling eucalyptus and green tea. A nearly perfect wine . Had it at my friend Scott’s memorial service in the Catskills.

Still dark, just slight ruby edge to this, what now is a 27 yr old Cabernet (6/8/17) great fruit with spice small hints of currants and sweet tobacco it's as though the wine was in a time capsule still good tannin strength but tannins have sweetened and linger good length showing blueberry chocolate with subtle sweet chalk and bramblely fruit
