Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru Pinot Noir

Dark Crimson but not as dark as the Pansiot Charmes - wine #4 in this bracket. Very powerful and rich once again with palate staining intensity finishing with cherry skins and formidable tannins. Built for the long haul. Should not be approached for another 15 years.

Very primary throughout. Tannins and acidity merging into a muscular core of tightly packed crisp, dark fruit. More powerful than elegant.
