This is my second tasting notes ever. Aroma is 7/10 fruity like a lot of Cali zin, combined with sweet new Cali oak vanilla to provide a heavy fruit nose overall. However, the flavor argues against the oak, lacking any cover-up plastic taste. Was this only aged in new oak for a few months before bottling? Kinda reminds me of dry hopping beer, as it has the aroma without a strong vanilla oak flavor. Medium-high body with a hint of sugar/caramel but low viscosity. Absolutely no meniscus qualities to be seen at all. Would drink again, recommend with highly contrasting foods like cheese or creamy pasta, but not a big winner overall
