Bevan Cellars
Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Sonoma Coast, Sonoma County, California, USA
Visually, you can see the deep degree of extraction. The nose is dense, with nutmeg, cloves, sweet sandalwood and barrel toast. Palette is regal and deftly balanced. Predominantly morello cherries, tobacco, with a subtle hint of mint. Tannins provide a wonderful structure and balance. Bevan has the Midas touch.

Aug 14th, 2016I may have opened this too early today to pair with roasted chicken & veggies. I opened and poured the 1st glass to calm my excitement then I decanted the rest for about an hour. I'm a huge fan of Bevan Cellars (Ontogeny is my fav) I was shocked to fine this Pinot overly jammy and mediciney. Any suggestions on what to do with it?
