Dark ruby with near opaque core; slightly glass clinging. Big abundant nose of black cherry jam and red apple peel. Full bodied palate echoes the nose adding a sweet-ish earthy marzipan element. Brief hint of oak st the beginning (per my dining partner). Very low tannins. Medium acidity. Finish is moderately long. Excellent food Pinot Noir from the king of big boned reds.

First Bevan PN. I drink a fair amount of PN. Not much different than the Patz & Hall PN. Gamey meat on the nose and plum paste. Nice. Lush full throttle mouthfeel, reminds me of the Pisoni fruit-wild berries, mocha makes a nicely layered profile across the palate. The finish is the show, and it's big. Tannins integrate masterful flashing minerals and smoked berries.

An 11 year old Pinot Noir from Bevan…what a treat! I don’t think it’s going to improve with further aging. It’s time to drink this one.

Haven’t had a Bevan PN for quite awhile. Enjoyed this with a ribeye.

Sonoma Coast Petaluma Gap. In honor of Russell’s 2018 Spring Release. After watching the video of Pumpkin & Russ it made us very thirsty. We had to open a bottle in celebration.
