The wildest tasting wine I’ve ever tried. Rank with hickory and horseflesh when opened, two hours later the barnyard clears and this lovely red-fruited, dusty-tannined, acid-driven wine emerges. Black cherry-colored. Wouldn’t have been able to tell you the age of it. Not at all oxidized. The bottle really tried to scare me away.
