Catena Alta Historic Rows Cabernet Sauvignon

Round full bodied wine with red fruit and spicy hints. I would have preferred more of an edge. A bit to subtle for my taste.

South America tasting: 🇦🇷 4 vineyards

Dark purple/ruby color made from high altitude fruit. Quite aromatic featuring cooked plums and blueberries with hints of violet, mint and lavender. Juicy plum and blueberry flavors fill the palate with additional notes of baking spices and roasted nuts. A bit of cedar on the long finish. Medium-plus body with pretty fine tannins. Vibrant with some tension. Nice choice, Keith S!
