Barnyard funk and earthy notes of mushroom and loam accompany pencil lead, cinnamon, ripe plum, and mulled red fruit in the nose. The palate features raspberry jam, cranberry, cinnamon, clove, American oak, cedar, pencil lead, and cocoa. Medium tannins, medium plus alcohol, and high acid.

I opened it two days ago, poured a glass then corked it. Today it’s amazing. Plums, some leather and warm ripe strawberries. The color is deep and beautiful. It’s delicious. A good reco from 67 Wine in NYC/UWS.
