Probably too young, knowing these wines’ capacity to age, but this was fairly unbalanced with a lot of oak and not a great deal else. Not half as good as the Condado de Haza Crianza tried the week before. I’d be very intrigued to try this in another five or so years.

Delicious Tempranillo with tart/ripe cherries, earth, vanilla, dill, slight leather, but fruit and acid combo on point. Paired great with Ribs and burgers..love to try reserva some time..

I think it had suffered from storage issues, because it was a bit too evolved. This was my mother’s favorite wine.
