Untypical Rioja from color to nose and palate - but all in a good way: darker, less and well-integrated oak, and a delicious fruit-forward (albeit high-alcohol) finish. Had with paella at Voksepp's who bought the wine in San Sebastian. Great!

Gorgeous limited production Tempranillo from a beautiful winery in Rioja Alavesa. Black cherry, blackberry, vanilla, spice, velvet tannins and brilliant acidity.
