Wow! What a pleasant surprise. Cork had some streaking despite ideal conditions...which made me think it was something leftover from bottling. Incredible aromas of black cherry and spice box. Flavors of dark cherries and spices. Outstanding structure. Text book Rioja. Stunning. Wish I had more.

Nice 2005 Rioja. Paired with fondue rib eye steak on Christmas Eve. Nice dark berry fruit medium tannin, and smooth finish. An aged winner
