Same restaurant…same wine…haven’t found a better bottle at 19€ from a restaurant wine list in the area. They just serve their red bottles too cold. At Venta La Choza restaurant. — 2 years ago
Seriously good wine. — 5 years ago
Drank at Quimera restaurant (Oliva) on 5th August 2018.
Dark cherry, purple border. Vanilla and spices on the nose. Fruity, berries, complex as it goes, vanilla and spices, long chocolate finish. Very good wine. — 6 years ago
Plum, cocoa, raspberry, and subtle dust on the nose. Rich, yet dry. Notes of cocoa powder, ash, dried raspberry, unsweet dark chocolate, blackberry, subtle cranberry, tar, & earth. Medium body & tannins. Beautiful balance of fruit & wooly dryness; alcohol hides well; pairs wonderfully with food. — 25 days ago
Had the 2013. — 5 years ago
— 3 months ago
Amazing notes on the nose, smooth butter finish. Dark flavors. Wine tasting in Rioja! — 7 months ago
I pick up a lot of herbal influence along with some terrific strawberry and cherry aromas. The fruit plays large on the palate, too. There is a hint of pepper in the sip. Acidity is fresh, nearly ripping, and the finish is all about the red fruit — 5 years ago

Love it. Though big, bold, and high al at 14.5%, a great example of a rioja w some age. Prob could age much longer. Very tart fruit. Fruit better defined day one vs day two. For $40, definitely worth it. Why ever drink a 2yr old CA cab and pay $100+??!! — 8 hours ago
