Re-Rating this 2008 in 2019. It’s taken on a Bordeaux like structure with more black and blue fruits than I recall where drinking this several years ago. The Spanish oakiness and suns still present, but has softened into a food friendly wine with a nice full bodied balance of acidity, structure and a touch of fresh fruit.

Maybe a bit past its prime. I usually am positively biased towards almost any Spanish red, but this one I probably is kind of "meh."

Quite dry, a bit chalky, some berry flavors, probably best with a spicy meat on the rare side
