Finally a new Rias Baixas albarino at my local dealership. Clear, golden viscous swirl and some nice notes of ripe pear, canteloup melon, and spices on the nose bodes well for the taste: unfortunately the wine is unbalanced with high outofwhack acids, green grassy notes (almost like sauv. blanc) and a sour finish. Well, you have to have some bad to appreciate the good, right?! Kenny Drew on the piano, however, does everything right in the background.

Clean nose, lots of yellow and green notes: citrus, lemon-peel, pears and a floral hint. On the palate very clean, quite light-bodied with high acidity and notes of green apples, pear and lemon.
Would want to try again soon (without recently brushed teeth and a slight cold).
