Surprise. Wilson Mabel paella dinner and didn’t realize this was CA Alberino! Nose of white flowers laced with minerals lemons. Firm acidic palate with biting finish. 580 cases total! Brand and Family produced it. — 4 months ago
Medium lemon color with stone and tropical fruit aromas and floral citrus scents. On the palate flavors of apples, mango and pineapple with citrus zest and hints of chalky notes. Well balanced with lively acidity, long finish ending slightly creamy with mineral, citrus and wet stone nuances. Very nice. — 10 days ago

With 10+ years the acidic bite seemed to have lessened but still show some complexity still. Good pairing with the red. — 23 days ago
Bright beige gold. Inviting nose of underripe yellow apples and honey. Nose is confirmed on the medium-bodied palate which adds orange rind, wet stone, and firm but approachable acidity. Finish is brief and continues the palate. Excellent South American (Uruguayan) take on Albariño that's a great match for fried foods -- I had mine with KFC -- and winter white wine fare. Drink now through 2026 (but mostly now). — 2 months ago
