Interesting Spanish blend of Mencia (60%), Garnacha (25%), Mouraton/Juan Garcia (7%) and Albarello (3%) with the balance from other native grapes. Medium ruby/purple color. Aromas of limestone, cherry and violets with a definitive “green note.” The pallet is full of red fruit and sour cherries with hints of black pepper, fresh green herbs, dark chocolate, iron and graphite. Soft oak and reasonable acidity. Nice balance.
