Tarima Hill Old Vines Alicante Monastrell

100% Monastrell. Perfume on the nose with a bit of freshly cut grass. Spearmint on the palate as well, in an herby way. New leather tones with some dried plums. Overall pretty vegetal, but with sharp acidity and medium body.

Acidic and vegetive... Green pepper and grass... Pretty flat, little structure.

I love this wine, drinking cold, not sweet not dry just perfect

Deep, dark and broody. Super high in alcohol (15%!)... Party in a bottle!!

Great value. Beautiful monastrell fruit. Pretty complex for this price point.

Big monastrel. Full bodied, medium high tannins and acidity to round it out spicy ness on the finish. Really awesome.

Felt like something with New World style and this hit the spot. Rich, mocha-edged dark fruit and ripe, soft tannin. Not shabby at all.

2013. Big fruit, big spice, big barrel. Not subtle. Clunky.

A Big, rich wine tasting blackberries, cherries, chocolate & spice with a stone minerality finish.

Really good but too acidic for it to be really great.
