Opulent and delicious. Open and soft edges with oak, some hints of mint, broad fruit. Delicious.

Something off here...possible the bottle? Didn’t have a back up to try. Muted. Lacking fruit. Not corked.

Had this with a pastrami on rye and it was incredible. Heard this wasn't the best vintage. Feel like it would be greedy to want better.

Not the best Unico I have tasted but certainly the youngest. It was missing an extra dimension I typically find in this wine, but that could appear with a little more bottle age. Loads of ripe black and dark red fruits, spice and sweet, toasty oak.

The star of Spain wine making l, this is my first visit to this iconic wine, I heard so many praises yet never drink it before. The 2007 was lovely surprisingly ready to drink, yet I was expecting more (the risk of iconic wines ;-)). A blend of Tempranillo and CS, a deep dark red, ripe aromas of black cherries, plums, black current, coffee, rich and intense full body with lovely acidity, round tannins, and big long intensive finish. A lovely wine, I expected amazing:-) my score 92, drink to 2028

Dried raisins and berries mixed with lavender and spice. So intriguing.

Catching up on ratings. This was still a baby. Full of fruit, tannins, and yet-to-be-revealed character and depth. Hold it.

First time trying Unico for me. Get it while you can. Young but still incredibly balanced.
