Toro: one of the oldest and strongest expressions of Tempranillo is tamed by the House of Vega Sicilia. Pintia preserves the rustic and robust nature of the DO in an elegant way. Aromas and flavors of dark fruit, violets, dark chocolate, coffee and spice. Full bodied, high alcohol and fine grain tannins with a strong finish are sure to entice. — 3 months ago
Drinking in 2025. Incredible structure. Classic Rioja profile. Will continue to get better. Can’t wait to revisit in 6-8 years. Decant - some sediment already — 6 days ago
Exquisite. Always solid. Paired with filet mignon. — 7 months ago
Deeper ruby , slightly narrower garnet , ruby rim . Quite richly fruited with a meaty , smoky character also , red plum , dark cherry , blackberry , touch of spice . On the palate this has quite good density and grippy tannin , balanced acidity , darker ripe fruits. Reasonable length . Quite polished and modern in style . Needs time , come back in 5 years and will last well at least a further 10 . — 17 days ago

2000 Unico is drinking very well but still so young. The millennium vintage will live forever. — 21 days ago
