Had it a year ago and didn't like it. What a difference of one more year in the bottle...
Dark red ruby in color.
Gorgeous on the nose with dark fruits, vanilla, smoke and black pepper.
Smooth on the palate with blackberries, figs, cherries, peppercorn and spices.
Medium bodied with fat legs.
A tad flat on the finish with flabby tannins and black pepper. A little too acidic, though.

May 24th, 2016A really solid California red. Amazing array of flavors present: cherry, cedar, both sweet and musty oak, golden raisin, red plum on the nose. Full body, juicy, neither tart nor sweet, strong dry tannins but not without some velvet. Rich on the palate: chocolate cherry, oaky vanilla baking spices and toffee, little notes of licorice and green pepper here and there. Lots playing around the edges of the nose and finish. Exactly what a good blend should be!

I keep coming back to this bottle, just let it breath for a couple of minutes or areate. Nice balance of acidity and sweetness. And the best of all is how affordable, definitely one of the best daily drinkers out there.
