This was my first experience with Bollinger, and it did not disappoint. There were flavors of pear a little bit of Apple and a kind of toasty-ness. I don’t have a lot of experience with fine champagnes. But it seemed like the flavors here were more delicate and nuanced and kind of layered I guess you might say. This was a great start to our Thanksgiving dinner. As my dad said, “now that’s the way to start a party”. $50 at Costco was a decent deal and it came in a nice gift box.
