Surprisingly dark fruit for Grenache, black and blue fruit. Sweet oak. Hot earth dust and leather. Black peppercorn. Body is not huge but tannins are gripping on a long finish

Nice plush Grenache. Deep color, rich strawberry/red fruit characters with a good amount of grip. Held its etOH well.

Fresh tarmac and cooked berry on the nose. Very focused grenache. This wine makes me aware of Monterey's potential. Very good but I'm not sure I'd pay $48 a bottle for it.
