Young, shows the vintage from the grenache but the extra dollop of SM is helping this out. I like the dark, brooding black/blue fruit component, a little sexy. Loads of spices across the board. Some astringent tannins need to furl out, there’s some compartmentalization going on structurally that needs resolve for that ultimate CNDP hedonism train but for now I like the muscles it brings to the table. Raw power and untamed, perfect match to unapologetically rich/rustic food with the same personality.
