Bright ruby red. Nose is a bit shy as I chilled the bottle a bit too long, but yields a grapey raspberry cherry. Palate echoes the nose. Medium plus tannins. Medium plus acidity. A “serious” Nouveau from the good folks at Bouchard Aine. Enough so to serve with a formal meal. Make this your go to when Le Beaujolais Nouveau est arrivé next year. Sorry, Georges!

2019 tasty pinky red in color, ever so mildly sweet with strawberries and ripe kiwi. I think it is my favorite beaujolais ever. 11%
