Bramble and underripe blueberries with some tart cranberry notes. Smokey salami and dried sage on the secondary front followed by peppery cedar. This is all I want from a quality burgundy. Tannins are smooth and resolved, this is on point.

The fruit is lighter and the earth greater than the Corton or the L’enfant Jesus, but overall balanced and wonderful. More than anything my takeaway is these 05’s are drinking great.
