Bress
Heathcote & Bendigo Shiraz
From Bress, a little known Heathcote producer producing a typical Heathcote Shiraz. A very dense crimson in colour - aromas of plums prunes and charred oak. On the full bodied palate ripe plums with liquorice and fine gravelly overtones. Persistent fine Tannins. Still a few years to go but this is my last one.

Aug 21st, 2019Earthy aromas with a touch of iodine with medicinal/cough medicine type aromas. Pruney notes. None of this is a negative, in fact pretty typical Heathcote. Known as a home for full bodied Shiraz but this wine at 12 years with supple tannins and medium to full bodied is very drinkable for someone who is gravitating away from full throttle Shiraz.

Nov 27th, 2018A small biodynamic maker from Heathcote. This 2006 was their first vintage with full Bio Certification. Notes of plum Loam and Liquorice. Rich ripe chocolatey flavours. Medium to full bodied palate. Impressive.
