2018 Merlot ~$12 at Costco (2022 01)
Easy, drinkable, structure from start through finish. Will buy more (would def buy many more at $10).

Juicy fresh blackberries and reduced black cherry, bay leaf and green bell pepper, and graphite. Subtleties of anise, mint, sandalwood and vanilla. Bursting flavor on the palate in my opinion. Deep purple, medium tannin, medium acidity. Yummy $15 rec from Mark and BGarden.

A bit bitter along with Spanish Manchengo cheese. Might be a Merlot preference. Better with creamier cows milk cheese and was able to finish it off, grows over time...
Not thinking of this as a repeat contendor.
Costco for $11.99
