Love Red North Coast Carignan Blend

65% carignan, 20% valdigue, 15% Syrah. Stemmy, red cherry, raspberry, touch of black pepper, blueberry, med body, mint, thyme, med tannin. Almond paste. Quite juicy but only med finish.

2015. Just what I needed tonight! Mouth-coating dark red fruits with tangy sour cherry, cranberry, lower tannins and higher acidity.

Fruit roll up, dark chocolate, and vanilla on the nose. Blueberry and earth on the palate with well balanced acidity.

So ridiculously fresh and quenching, especially with a slight chill. Supremely chuggable.

65% Carignan, 20% Valdiguie, 15% Syrah. Carbonic maceration used. Nice red fruit on the nose, ripe, but not overripe. Nice flavor. Very juicy and fruity and doesn't even feel like it is approx. 13% ABV. Not sweet though.
