Great CA Chardonnay. Balanced, not overly oaked, not really buttery. Fresh and delicious lemon, yellow apple, underripe pear. It doesn’t have the electric acidity of the Adank Swiss Chardonnay I just tried, but it’s delicious in its own softer, more subtle way. Speaking of Swiss, I’m using a cup for tonight’s cheese fondue on a snowy night. — 2 days ago
That time of year again. My second vintage of this funky rosé. Just like I remembered. Some polarizing reviews, but I love the wildness of this Grenache Gris. Just right for turning leaves and Fall harvest. Would also be nice as a Thanksgiving aperitif if you can wait. But I had it with leftovers. — 4 months ago
This still has a HUGE nose for a natural Broc, tart cherries explode out of the glass, with notes of pomegranate and fresh cut grass. Hardly any bricking, with sustained color and still a prominent acidity on the nose, with subtle florals and pepper. The palate is smooth, medium bodied, with hints of Burch and prominent ripe red fruits, with a slight raspberry breath on the finish. Kind of short, but still solid for 10 years old. Surprisingly still lithe for a Broc! — 2 years ago
Excellent! Fresh dry fruit and a very nutty finish. Red-pink color and fine bubbles. With millet-peanut stuffed avocados and harissa salsa. Thanks Broc! — 9 months ago
Cloudy. Effervescent. Yeasty. Crisp green apple. Biting not sweet. A twinge of funk. — 3 years ago

New grape for me, and new Broc for me. Love it! The nose is a bit green and underripe, but the fruit is amazing. Red current, raspberry, black cherry, some strawberry, but damp and dark, then it turns dry. Great balance of fruitiness and dryness towards the end. Some tannins on the finish and subtly herbal, but not much. Pure dry fruit for quite a while. Comforting winter red. Lovely label. With pizza.
As with other Brocs, this doesn’t hold up so much on the second day. Drink fresh. — 11 days ago
