Sep 26th, 2020Needs a good decant. Softly opens with brooding dark red and black fruit, black olive, pepper corns, cedar, baking spice... anise and black cardamom. Gripping tannins and medium acidity. This is a tightly wound deep Grenache. So much structure and finesse, probably very age worthy considering it just gets better with more oxygenation. Definitely can stand up to big game or a good old fashion steak. Kermit never seems to disappoint.. bravo

May 26th, 2021Dark fruited, powerful with a beautifully approachable palate weight. Fruit tells the story on the palate, but the nuance is in the nose here. Cracked pepper & savory aromatics. Excellent.

Aug 2nd, 2020Layers of complexity: black olives, anise, baking spice, black fruits, herbs, cinnamon. Wonderful. Short ribs with Alex and Alex. One point to Kermit but it’s probably more Vieux influence.
