Medium to deep ruby. Very dark with savory notes straight from the bottle. Dark cocoa, cloves, dark herbs and leather. Medium tannins (6.5/10) with a medium to medium plus body. Dark cocoa on the palate with vanilla, soft dark fruits, a touch smoked, and black cherries. Long finish. Definitely better on day one. Drink till 2024.

Fuller body with good tannins, pair with red meats or hard cheeses. The label read blackberry and pepper, but I didn't get turned off by the the pepper. I enjoyed this Washington Cab has a smooth red without being fruity.
