Don’t know how Maynard does it but this is truly impressive. Italian style field blend that is plush and plummy on the palate with a fine, powdery tannin. Elegant, fun, and absurd.

Red/purple flower, dried rose petal, beautiful subtle floral notes, strawberry, raspberry, candies cherry, med body, not as heavy as 13.9 % on the label, med plus acidity, great wine.

Deep purple color with black and dark red fruit, leather, and subtle spice aromas. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, easy, and delicious with wonderful acidity, youthful grippy tannins and blackberry, black cherry, and a bit of mineral flavors. Medium finish. Blend of Sangiovese, Refosco, Primitivo, Dolcetto sourced from Luna County, New Mexico fruit

I am drinking the blend from New Mexico. 2013. More of a sour blend but smooth.

Right after opening, it seems like an alcohol bomb on the nose. Not to fail. Just needs 10 minutes and it's open to big red fruit, slight oak, tart cherry, and great acid. They're killing it out there.

Excellent and very reasonably priced for a NM wine. Bold, but still very smooth.
