Jensen Vineyard Pinot Noir

I am looking forward to tasting the wines from Josh Jensen at #ipob

Pretty darn impressive

Second of two 2008 pinots, offering softer, deeper cherries with floral highlights. Enjoyable from initial pour to its fuller bouquet as it opened up.

Pinot pioneer’s josh Jensen’s first vineyard planted in 1975. Amazing, rich wine hitting its stride now after 11 years in the bottle.

Earthy nose cherry bomb

Best bottle of 6 that I had purchased, proving again that Cali Pinots can age well. This is not a complex wine but a delicious wine.
