Fantastic eve - a 2019 Walt Blue Jay + this 19yr old gem! Light brown meniscus, but spectacular berry fruit remained. I was so surprised by the superb, char barrel scents balanced w/ the raspberry/cherry fruit. Fun that I had left the price tag on $50 purchase in ‘08…that was steep for me!
I have a few older Calera Pinots left & look forward to how they unfold.

Amazing nose, but the taste... One of the best Caleras I've had: velvety on the tongue, earthy fruits and spices, and an incredible mouth feel. For those who love Burgundian wines, this would be one for you.

Jensen knows how to make Pinot. Very good drink now. Not going to last a couple more years. Jensen makes burgundy like pinots, he is just great
