First time trying Verdot and Tannat. Paired it with a charcuterie board mix and was surprised how different it tasted compared to the usual wines I prefer, like Pinot Noir and Cabernet. It’s an acquired taste and I would definitely try it again but don’t see it replacing my favorite wines. A bit bitter and dry. Some herb notes and dark fruits.

Had the 2022 in May of 2024. Was a WSJ wine. But very tasty. Dark fruits- cherry and plum. Fairly big body and beautiful deep rich color. Noticeable oak with a slightly sweet, vanilla finish. Wish I would have received two of this bottle instead of one. Would definitely drink again.
