A classic example of the sweet and jammy Lodi style of Zin, this wine is nonetheless restrained at a relatively low 13.9%. Blackberries, blueberries, and currants dominate this food friendly wine, which paired nicely with steak au Poivre.

Fruit is in the driver's seat but I'm not sure I like how it's driving. Baked fruit leads the way and all in all this is a typical Zin but somehow soulless.

Smells fab, dark fruit, bit of spice and those Lodi flowers. and tastes only slightly disappointing in comparison. An absolute steal for $8 at trader joes.
